Irvine’s Astoria condominium high-rise is the setting for the 2009 ASID/OCC Design Tour April 21 – May 17. The luxuriously appointed Astoria towers is located within Central Park West (Irvine, CA). The Design Tour includes four penthouse lofts and two flats on the Terrace and Grand Tier levels.
Dramatic floor to ceiling windows and vast outdoor spaces offer a spectacular setting for this year’s ASID Design Tour. The Astoria Tower’s on site business center, concierge service, secured wine vault and private wine-tasting room, fully equipped exercise room and oversized pool and spa are the luxurious accoutrements to these world class condos that seem to rival New York City’s famous Waldorf- Astoria.
The ASID/OCC Design Tour opens on April 19 with a stellar Preview Party benefiting the Orange County Performing arts Center, then continues for a month with a "Meet the Designer’s" Friday night speaker’s series fashion shows, wine tasting and culinary events.
Several prominent South Orange County designers will showcase interior designs at the Astoria for the 2009 AISD/OCC tour.
Frank Pitman Designs of Laguna Hills, twice the winner of the ASID Platinum Award for excellence, Gary Finley Interiors of Laguna Beach, a master at integrating antiques and creating contemporary interiors and Megan Crane Designs of Rancho Santa Margarita whose designs have been featured in Coast Magazine, Orange County Home Magazine will each be featured.
