Esterley and Sacred Living were tasked with creating sacred spaces for a loving, multigenerational family to come together for frequent entertaining and large celebrations. Evoking the warmth of the family and this lovely farmhouse setting, Esterley applied earth tones to the residence’s welcoming rooms, and opened up spaces so that energy and gatherings would flow effortlessly between the indoor and outdoor ‘rooms.’ Here, even the outdoor landscaping incorporates Sacred Living design philosophy — with lavender specimens selected for their relaxing aroma, and geodes placed around the garden for their healing properties. Sound therapy was incorporated with multiple water features, while a hotel-inspired guest suite was designed and outfitted — down to the sheets and writing desk — to inspire a warm welcome for guests.
